Fine Art Wedding Weekend in Southwest Colorado

After marrying privately in front of their family, A+A wanted to host their friends for a celebration that was completely different. Enter Dunton Hot Springs! They chose this location because it perfectly fit his vision of a big party and her vision of a beautiful romantic setting with equal parts mature and glamor!

The couple wanted each of the three nights to feel very different. The first night they opted for a casual BBQ welcome dinner and leaned into the mountainous southwestern surroundings in the southern Rockies around Dunton Hot Springs.

The aesthetic for the wedding was Flemish Renaissance. They wanted it to feel like a cross between a banquet scene from a Renaissance painting and an overgrown greenhouse in an English countryside manor. They wanted tons of candlelight, a very moody atmosphere with vintage candelabras, and interesting-looking live plants in the tablescape. All of the furniture was mismatched antique and the DJ booth backdrop was a 16th century door.
